The new Rosebrough Tiger Passage at the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo encompasses 15,000 square feet of natural habitat area and is home to the zoo’s two Amur (Siberian) tigers. The design emulates their nautral habitat in Russia, and includes features such as climbing poles, native grass meadows, rock outcrops, tree  climbing structures, shallow rocky streams and deep soaking pools. The complexity of the space gives the tigers choices to explore and offers guests the experience to view them as they would in the wild.  The exhibit incorporates LEED design principles and embraces the Cleveland Metroparks’ Green Infrastructure and Sustainability guiding principles recognized in the Cleveland Metroparks 2020 Emerald Necklace Centennial Plan.
